I just want to add that NOTHING in my entire life has made me a morning person, until I had chickens. Still not sure i'm a morning person, but have been getting up near sunrise to let the chickies out for over a month now. This morning I even watered my garden and started thinking maybe I should garden IN THE MORNING before the heat of day. those who know me would be SHOCKED.

All my life, up to the past year or little more, I was alway a morning person. People used to tease me about being so happy go lucky, hitting the floor with both feet as soon as the alarm went off...but am having thyroid problems (finally figured out), so have a Dr appt this week. Hopefully he'll figure things out and get me back to my "normal" self. Other things besides sluggishness have taken over my life, and am ready to get back to normal.

Scrambled, hope you were able to save the eggs from the dog. I've left an egg or two in unlikely places in haste, only to find them later. Oops!

Hey Buster , Annie other morning folks!!! Starting my 4 -10's today..whooo hoo on the fridays off, this week thursday too since friday is a holiday but it's a bit early now so I'm sure even my morning buds are still snug in the bed!!


Luckily the dog did not eat the egg Annie..she would have though if she had found it!! Saturday I dropped on in the pen and nearly did not get it and the gack from it scooped up before a Bared Rock rushed over to have her some...bet she is the one that has eaten two or three in the recent past...put alot of golf balls in the nests and that seemed to stop it though.

Hopefully we will get alot of rain today, I think the forecast is calling for some, need about 2" in my pond, lol!

Yay, it's a 4-day work week!!

I'm so excited that we have friday off. DH and I are going to a "threshers reunion" on friday where they sell home made crafts and such, it will be FUN!

I just hope it won't be a scorcher...

morning everyone ,

I've been sleeping in lately didn't get up till 5:30.

Usually up at 4:30.
well it's back to painting for me today. And filling the pool. Should take about 2 weeks if I don't want to drain the well. Now wishing I had put in the artesian.
OH WELL! what are ya gonna do. Still better than paying a water bill
