Hi! Welcome to BYC! You must have "early birds" going for the worm. But, seriously, we have arial predators who will swoop in on a chicken while you're watching. My little princesses don't peak their noses out until someone turns the lights on in their run.

Hi, everyone. I'm a new member and i am currently on my porch at 5:30 a.m. watching my chickens walk around in the dark. This has been going on since a little after 4 a.m. I thought sometging was wrong so i went out checking around in their coop and nope their just out early. So I'm just keeping an eye on them until the sun comes up.
