Good pigeon pen?

I want to get a few homing pigeons. Could I put a pair in here to live in? I would let them out as often as possible of course. I would also put a wooden floor. I have never raised pigeons before and want to know everything about homers.

Yes you could keep a pair or two in this pen. Make sure you get young unflown birds if you want to fly them because once pigeons are flown and know their area they will go back to that place forever thus the name homing pigeons. Pigeons breed readily and fast. It's a very addictive hobby

I wouldn't say friendly as cuddly but they will associate you as food provider. Girls will pair up and so will males. You can always put fake eggs under them too or just end up with a bunch.
