Awesome ideas! I to was wondering about giving them treats. I am trying to tame mine as well. Good luck with yours!

My first set of chicks are about two weeks old now. Last night I turned the lights out and opened the window so that all the moths flew into the brood light. The chicks got really excited and it was very entertaining for the family.
My kids didn’t want to wait for more moths so they went out and caught crickets and tossed them in too.

We give dried meal worms. The sound of the bag now gives away any chance of a surprise feeding. They do not, however, like lettuce. Weird!
