Originally I planned to make some 'coops' out of cut in half 44-gallon drums, fitting approx 2 chooks
per barrel, with a flock of around 10. though I am a bit skeptical of this as I do want the best for them, but I'm rather poor!
Ideally, my budget is $100 cheaper would be better. not very stretchable by the way! I need a coop that JUST fits 10 without a run as they will be free range in a large paddock. I need a large predator/weather proof coop to fit 10 chooks with nesting boxes, at least 5 and perches would be handy as well, need a good design quick as I've already got 3 chicks in the brooder and more to come! It might be worth noting that my carpenter skills aren't very good either.
I DO have access to pallets, but as mentioned my skills a SHITE and I couldn't even build my dog a house! nuff said but I need something easy to someone like me! it may be worth mentioning the tools needed too, I'M not good at building and don't have a shed full of tools, but I know someone with the like who may be willing to help if its simple!
