I got mine at TSC has worked great it’s in a 2.5 bucket with horizontal nipped will work for larger buckets too

I have a heated dog bowl, cheap, but only good for a few hens (holds about a gallon) and I wouldn't recommend it for inside the coop because they will likely kick it full of bedding. I think all water heaters will have a thick cord because they are designed for outside use and have a ground wire/pin.
I just started putting a very large heated dog bowl – around a gallon and a half – in one of the nesting boxes. The nesting boxes are raised up enough so that bedding isn’t going to get kicked into it, and it is tucked away enough that nobody’s going to stand on it, poop on it, or get their dirty feet in it. So far, it is working beautifully for my nursery coop with mama and 10 babies. Going to try it for my big girl coop as soon as hubby goes shopping for me today.

This might be the one I’m using. I think the one I picked up locally was blue and on sale for $17. But this is about right. https://shop.familyfarmandhome.com/products/pet-bowl-heated-round-1-5-gal-1396.html

Of course, my “babies” are teenagers now, so I don’t worry about them falling in and drowning. The nipple waterer just wouldn’t work anymore. Icicles were forming on all of the nipples, even with a heat lamp in that little coop. If I had little little babies, I might do something similar but with a mesh on top of the bowl so that the babies can’t fall in.
