Good waterer?

I've got a similar 7 gallon waterer- you'll want to get it up off the ground if you have some spare 4x4 scraps or some 2x4s you can screw together for a base to elevate the red tray. And whatever you do - make sure it's CLOSE to level so the water doesn't just seep out the low side and empty- which may not be readily noticeable but will have bad consequences if it goes empty. So leave numerous waters as a fail-safe.

I use those in the summer and a galvanized waterer on a heated base in the winter. Just make sure the plastic waterer isn’t leaking before you leave. Do you have someone who can come check on your flock while you’re away?
Yes I do I’m in Fl so I don’t have to worry about the freezing. But I csnt get the waterer anymore bc of my parents so that’s fun. I’ll just tell the person to make sure they have water and stuff

If you have any rubber feed pans or dog bowls (and no chicks), they work too. But you might want to add them to the run a couple of days before you leave so the girls get used to drinking from them. (Mostly for your comfort, not theirs as they’ll figure it out quickly.)
