Easy steps to a sweet chicken:Alright thank you.
They're amazing!! People always used to say how nice silkies were but I never really took much notice.
I've got about 15 chicks in the brooder at the moment. Legbars and marans.
I was going to keep them but now I'm wondering wether i should just get silkies instead.
If you want any of my current chicks, let me know.
I don't have the patience for that.Easy steps to a sweet chicken:
- Read and talk to the eggs so they recognise your voice
- when they hatch, lay on a bed or blanket and let them snuggle up to you for warmth
- handle them any chance you get
- spend lots of time watching and handling them
- even when they live outside, spend lots of time with them, let them roost on your legs
- boom! easy peasy icy creamsy
YesSo I'm guessing the boys have already stolen your heart... they're good at that aren't they?
