Goodbye/Can't find dottie?

I've heard a story from a member on here. He lost one of his favorite hens while rushing everyone in before a storm. He couldn't find her, for 2 days while the storm rushed though and didn't count on finding her after. Turns out she his out under a overturned flower pot the entire storm. She was just fine.
I hope your Dottie turns up, chickens are to good at making us worry.
That’s such a sweet story.

My neighbor told me a story about how a pullet of hers disappeared for 3 days after a hawk attack. Brook, the little 14 week old pullet, was a Barnevelder. They searched for her for 2 days, and then gave up. The next morning her neighbor called her, and said, “I think one of your chickens is on my porch...”

lets hope she's under a pot or something somewhere.

She's not just a chicken she's my pet. I may only get to spend a few hours a day with her but she's a really good chicken. She was from my first batch of hens and she has always been a very sweet girl. Probably second to Nell, who everybody knows is my "favorite". She isn't loud and annoying like the buffs, she isn't skiddish like clairee and truvy. She's curious and friendly. She's funny and a little dumb. Its not like her to be scared of things.. who knows if she really did run away. I'm just trying to stay positive.

km crying nd it wont stop.this is the last thing i needed riht now
When I'm super anxious I try to plan out what I'm going to do the next day. When our cat went missing, I planned what I would do the next morning to find her. I recited over and over in my head until I fell asleep. Maybe this will help you? Again, I'm so sorry, sending lots of hugs you way. :hugs :hugs

I have to work so I literally cant do anything and my family doesn't care as much as I do. I'll do as much as I can before I clock in.

I can’t see the pic.

I have a hen like this. I was on my way home from a camping trip when our neighbor who was watching the chickens told us a predator attacked the coop at night. It had broken through the wood and killed one of the hens. She found a pile of feathers on the floor. I was scared to death if could be Sunshine, and when she told us it was a Buff I cried all the way home. We only have 3 Buff Orps, so of course I convinced myself it was her.
When we got home I frantically searched the coop and didn't see Sunny. I couldn't believe it, but when I rounded the coop I found her happy and untouched perched on the edge of the run. Turns out the neighbor who knows nothing about chickens called the EE that got eaten a Buff, and even though I liked her as well, I have to admit I was relieved it wasn't Sunny.
Your baby will turn up one way or another. Chickens are skittish, of course the fireworks scared her away and she's hiding somewhere, thats what chickens do. And in the process of scaring themselves to death, they do the best they can to make us just as worried as they are. She'll be alright, you take care of yourself to, you can only do so much and worrying shouldn't be one of your priorities. Try to get some rest. :hugs :hugs *Sending hugs*.
