Big trees are our best friends until they try to kill us

I understand that one, we have had a few trees come down, we live in a clearing completely surrounded by trees. Our whole property, aside from the various neighboring properties, is all forest!

No ma'am, we're staying. Lots and lots of large trees around my house but we had them checked recently and they removed any dead/diseased ones.

Do you have a mandatory evac order? Friends in Hammond do but they have to stay because the husband works on the team at the airport welcoming the FEMA planes.

In other terms, I am so sorry for your loss, I'm sure she was special in her own way.

I have never had to put a chicken down, but we had to do it to our dog many years ago. He bloated from firework stress, so we had to euthanize him.

Most of our flock members always go out naturally.
But believe me, she is in a way better place, and with that hurricane, she would probably have been very stressed. Just remember the good times you had with her, (even if she did poop on you) and that she is now very happy.

Yes.. that’s my biggest concern.. I love the shade but hate the mess! And water makes me worry a little too. Our yard floods when it rains so if it rains just enough we could possibly get some in the house.. never have so hopefully not! Thank you!!
