Any word on Gumbo/Gumbette?

Can you get closer pictures. I THINK I see roo feathers on the neck and above the tail but I can't see them that great.

Well, guys , still don't know. No eggs and no crowing. Gumbo does chase the other pullets and like herd them, but maybe he/she is just grumpy. Still a mystery to me.

Okay, so this am I was taking my son up the driveway to catch the bus, and, who is standing tall on his perch crowing away...........GUMBO. So, mystery solved. I tried to video, but then he decided he was done. Maybe I can catch him in the act later. Thanks to everyone for a fun guessing game.

It looked like a roo just because of the saddle feathers being so long.

I had a buff cochin who I swear NEVER crowed til he was a year old. and then he only crowed it he was far away from my head roo. I probably only heard him crow 4 or 5 times in his life.

Well, I was wrong on this one!

I am happy the Gumbo mystery has been finally solved.

Could you please post a pic of Gumbo in the next few months? I would like to see what he looks like in a few months.
