Goodbye Sly, Hello Baby SLy.

Some of you have seen my photos over the past year of my first lot of Runner ducks and Sly my Jumbo Pekin.
I went out to do pools and buckets on Saturday and found Sly dead.
Her 1 and only egg I have ever put in the bator was getting ready to hatch.
R.I.P Sly 16 Aug 2010 to 6 Aug 2011.
It was a bitter sweet day for me.

It was this look on her face that gave her the name SLY.

Sorry about big Sly, but the Baby Sly is adorable!

Sly was a pretty girl- and obviously well loved and cared for - as are all you animals. Mum and dad look like such an odd couple together- but still, they managed to bring into the world a very sweet and precious new life. So sad that you have lost your beautiful Sly, its the only bad part about owning animals..having to say goodbye- selling them can be hard at times- but loosing one so young like this when so unexpected is sometimes cruel.
