Gooey thingy. What is it??

I wasn’t sure where to put this so hopefully it’s in the right forum.

Anyone know what this is and if I should be worried? There was no egg with it or near it, it was on the patio outside of the coop where they lay. I assume it’s egg related?

To me it looks like 2 shell-less, yolkless eggs got expelled at the same time. The thicker end of that cord looks a little like the start of a lash egg, hopefully it's a one off scenario.

I wish I knew who it was from. None of them are acting weird. I do have one that stopped laying for awhile but she recently started up again. Maybe that was just a weirdness of her getting back on track?

That very well could be. Hopefully that chunk of icky stuff at the bottom was all there was to it and she's expelled it -- the encouraging thing is the more normal looking egg white in the second little sac.
