**The chickens are about 8 months old. None of them act sick, appetite is great, all are very active, no sneezing or sniffles. They are happily running around the yard.

**I noticed most have a lot of poo stuck on their butt feathers, like they have diarrhea and their vents are VERY gooey. While watching them I noticed some had diarrhea, or just runny poo, but not all the time.

**They eat purina layer crumbles mixed with half flock raiser (I thought that would be good since it's so cold) a tiny bit of cracked corn at night and some BOSS, left over fruit & veggies, raw ACV in their water a few times a week, and yogurt a couple times a week too. Egg production is down, out of 9 laying hens we've been getting 4, maybe 5 eggs a day.

**they were dewormed with Ivomec in June.

I don't know if this is a sign of illness or maybe they need dewormed again? If it is illness where do I start? Suggestions on antibiotics? In this area I'm on my own as far as vet care since they won't see a chicken. I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions and help!

THANK YOU!!!!

Woof...
There is a lot of different poop that is normal for chickens. The runny poo could just be normal cecal poo. Here's a link to some pictures:

Can you post a picture? Is there any odor? What color? Could just be dirty butts, have you tried cleaning them up to see if it continues? Maybe trim the feathers. What breed are they?

Good luck,

Look at the thread I think my hen's vent is infected, update I found out what the problem was" by yomama. It is in the emergeny's catagory and she posted pics of hers. She has a diagnosis from the vet if it looks similar. Hope it helps.
