Goose bit by dog. help?

My goose got a dog bite on his wing, and the feathers in that area (big feathers) are standing up straight, sticking into a really bad looking part of the wing. Dark red/black, and i can't really tell what's going on due to the amount of feathers in that area. should I pull the bad ones, or just leave it alone?

I might trim the feathers back to get a better look. It won't look as good as pulling and they won't grow back anytime in the near future, but your goose won't appreciate being injured and then half-plucked on top of it.
