Goose bored with eggs???

My mama goose was doing so well - faithfully setting on a nest of 10 eggs for almost a month now, that were due to hatch next week. Now all of a sudden, she seems to have lost interest. She goes in there and sets for short periods off and on instead of continuously. No changes around here to upset her. Are eggs done for - should I give her more time??

Her eggs should have hatched in 28 days. If she has been setting for a month with no goslings, the eggs are infertile and she is done with setting.

I would candle them before you throw them out. Do you have an incubator?
