were brought to the flock and this happened
Did any one win? or get hurt?

Today my gander and goose were so loud it was crazy, no breeding yet from them but today something had changed.

Well mr. Gander came after me twice yesterday. Good for me is that I never back away from an attack. But in 7 years, I've only been attacked by my male silkie (what a joke), and the neighbor's BR roo, who gave it up when I met his attack head on and he had to back away. No hitting involved.
I have a long piece of bamboo that I carry so Sam has something to bite besides me. I also have a purple mop handle he likes real well. lol

yea haha the african gander did (they are strong things when small) the reason they fought was oviosly because i put them back to the flock after 5 weeks with its new partner so it protected its new wifey :) (most of the time young ganders fight during breeding season not before ,well not for a long period :/ )when my ganders fight i let them be because if i spit up the fighting no one is a winner so that means they will fight until they had a fight that one is winner and one looses . :D i think its really cool when geese fight be small are really unfair >:-( (small skinny gander and big chubby gander)but ive alot of geese so when one gander is boss of one after a fight the pecking order changes which i find interesting :) Ive on main gander who is boss of all the geese i have and then there is my new geese i got which will change the pecking order completely this breeding season :/

Miss lyia since you have only one gander and a goose ,did you ever see geese fight?:) because they are interesting to watch, females shouting FIGHT FIGHT! And the males chasing otherganders away to see the fight! haha when my african geese fight you can hear the females miles away :)

My gander hasn't another gander to fight with but I have 4 Muscovy drakes and he has fought with them, when him and my old drake were younger I had to separate them for a summer because they would beat each other up so bad. Now my dominant drake can get Sammy down pretty fast Sam doesn't fight any more, the other 2 drakes are afraid of Sam and my old drake is kept separate from the gander and drakes now. But they always have a cheering squad when a fight breaks out, and when the Scovy girls go at it everyone gather round to cheer on their favorite. lol

like brazil said its probely her first time.
And i once had a broody hen on 2 goose eggs and the hen stopped out of the sudden so i got the two goose eggs(which were 28 days old)and put them under the red heating lamp and they were slow at hatching but they still came out happy and healty.i made sure the eggs werent too hot or cold .But you can also wrap a hotwater bottle and cover it with a towel and put around the eggs to keep warm and theres also alot of other methods

.Only if you have time.Unless you have a incubator !
I hatched out 3 chicken eggs this year that the chicken abandoned (she was injured) 2 days before they were due, so I put them in a box under a lamp with a glass of water for humidity and a thermostat to keep the temperature reasonably stable and warm, aand cling-film to help the temperature and the humidity too, and all 3 hatched after 2 days.

This is a just checking type question for the members who have multiple breeds and for the ones who buy shipped eggs. I have been thinking of shipping eggs since i have so many girls here. I was thinking of doing a one breed sale 6 eggs and also a Variety Breed with 6 eggs(eggs could be from any of my 4 breeds) each egg would be purebred but it would be like a Mystery Hatch type thing. I like a surprise myself the fact that you never know what will hatch. I know some purist wouldnt like that but no one is twisting their arm to bid.
Any thoughts?
