Sammy will eat out of my hand, Missy will snatch things out of my hand but she isn't as trusting so how do i do this with 2 parents that are going to be so protective. RURU takes her gosling inside for a while then gives them back to the parents I don't think I could do that.
It is a trade off and if someone wants the opportunity to imprint and hand-raise a gosling, it is probably best to artificially incubate. When I allow my girls to hatch their own babies, I prefer to let them raise them and sometimes they are ok with me handling their goslings.... other times not. Usually, by the time the gosling becomes a juvenile, the parents mellow out and the youngster will become bolder, and I can establish a closer relationship then.
