Im thinking of getting a blue duck hen for my lone pekin/runner drake. Im not sure any ducklings will come from it because Mr. Flop is sort of mentally handicapped but never know cause he seems to be getting more normal the older he gets. Anyways im tired of him being all alone. Hes such a sweet ducky.

I can´t see you getting any ducklings from a duck called "Mr. Flop"!!!

The mixed bag ones are my favorites.

I popped 3 goose eggs under a muscovy....one has pipped...the others have youngsters inside, so I reckon by tomorrow/Sunday I´ll have more mixed-bag. I´m interested to see what comes from them, because the gander is white, Pilgrim-type, but the goose is also white, from pied parents.
The mum of the youngest 4 is pied and mated the same gander, and her goslings have the slightest bit of a promise of pied, just where the primaries will grow. That´ll be pretty.
A true mixed bag, I´ve no idea what will come out of the wrapper!

Only because I can´t stop talking about them!!! I have one of 3 months (only survivor out of 3), one of 2 months(only one that survived hatch), 6 of about 1 month, 4 of 2 weeks, and 3 more about to hatch under the duck, then 7 more eggs due to hatch under the goose in another week. So, it´s about every 2-4 weeks, that´s all.

Me either, but if i thought giving him a hen, with a pack of cigarettes, some vodka and a bottle of viagra would help id try it lol
Poor thing cant swim so i dont see him being able to "stay on" a female long enough to get anything out of it lol
