GOOSE BREEDING THREAD - for breeding, incubating, hatching and rearing.

That's right, I sure looking forward to seeing your goslings, been almost 7 yrs since I had one of those babies.

Thanks! The last embden that I hatched off and gave to the person that I hatched her off for got stolen a few days later. She lived in a highly populated urban area that had a pond behind her house.

Yeah, my neighbors dog ran off my Canadian that I raised too. Luckily I taught him/her how to fly.
Boy that's for sure. I hope neighbors dogs has been staying home. One of my worst pet peeves is someones dog coming on my property. Grr.

Thats why im getting a donkey. Ive lost too many chickens to roaming dogs. I would shoot them if i saw them near my geese. Instead i will just let the donkey take care of them.

Egg No. 6 today for Stormy. She took to the new nest in her new pen very well. Im going to check fertility and then bake a cake with it. The gander seems to be liking her he stood in between her and i, hissing and lowering his head.

Goslings should not be left alone outside without a person watching them. But sorry to hear the gosling disappeared..
