Egg #2 has hatched. Looks like it will be a grey boy. All grey and solid white end up boys. Girls are always white with grey blotches. Self sexing geese.

What breed of geese do you have, that the self sexing applies.

I have two African females and they are laying eggs in the same nest I was wondering if they would end up laying a clutch for each bird or they would each lay half a clutch and are they going to incubate together?

Mine are doing that to I have one that's on half of the time while the other is on them constantly in the same nest so I guess she wanted to be partial momma

They came from a friends farm and I was told they are pilgrims, but they are not. The males come out solid grey or white and the females are white with spots.

Well they may not be pure but they are beautiful and those goslings are so precious. Hope you don't mind if they are pure Pilgrim.
