Goose egg?

We have a 7 month old Toulouse who’s gender is unknown...I’d really love to have a girl though! Today I found a suspiciously large egg, the texture is also slightly different than the velvety smoothness of a duck egg. It’s more of a rougher feeling. I know it sounds weird but duck eggs have a very specific texture and this egg doesn’t fit that. Plus it’s way bigger then all the other duck eggs. Could it be? lol I might be stretching it but I do not need a gander

That’s a goose egg!
I take it the smaller egg is a duck egg? Goose eggs definitly have a rougher texture than duck eggs as they lack that waxy coating or whatever that smooth layer is on duck eggs.
