I just got an African gander as a rescue. He has a significant lump on the left side of his face. The right side is flat. The lump is fairly firm to touch, like a shelled, boiled egg, and does not seem to be painful. There is no drainage or discharge. He seems otherwise healthy

Can you identify this lump??? I need help.
Can you get someone to help you and take a look inside his mouth to make sure something isn't impacted inside? a vet visit would be a good idea if at all possible. I remember a couple years ago someone posted about a lump under their gander chin, come to find out a small piece of wood was lodged in there.
