My Chinese (Ginny) was being a naughty girl and tried to bite one of my Aylesbury's babies. Mother duck (Dougal) went apes*** and attacked Ginny. It ended before I could break it up and Ginny started spinning around with her wings open and then started running around all goofy like she was dazed. I ran over, scooped her up and sat her in my lap and she was being really quiet, I'm guessing she was in shock? I set her down and she was limping so I picked her up again and took her inside and put her in a bath to take the pressure off her leg. At the moment she's acting really needy, I'm sitting next to her in the bath and she keeps dragging my head towards her with her neck if that makes sense? I was just wondering how to treat her leg really, she looks like she is in pain :( Thanks in advance

How is Ginny doing now? is she still limping, have you seen any swelling or redness? you did good by putting her into the tub and getting her off her legs. Hopefully she just banged herself up when she was running around and she is doing much better now.

I'm about to go and check on her - there was no swelling or anything, I didn't think to check the bottom of her foot though so I'll do that now. Haha, I think I'm just being an overprotective mother, I had too many goose/duck injuries yesterday!

she's still limping. no sign of injury on bottom of foot. splinted it and just going to wait to see signs of improvement. thanks everyone
I hope she is doing much better today. My gander never looks where he is going I am very surprised in the 5 yrs of his life he hasn't injured himself.
