Goose has tongue coming out of under beak!!!! picture attached

Anyone heard of this ? Should i put it back in??? How the heck does this happen? Dont want to hurt any more. Cannot eat or drink.

Perhaps the goose tore open or cut the soft skin at the bottom of the beak. I would get some help, and try to put the tongue in the proper position, and try to close the wound. A vet of course would be best--a small or large animal vet could at least stitch it. even a bandaid or stri strips might close it temporarily. That is a freak thing to happen.
