We had some heavy winds all day and this nest was uncovered

I was thinking the geese were not producing any eggs this year but this makes me think otherwise ..

Hello,

I am getting some hatching duck eggs soon, but am very new to this. I am picking up the eggs in my car (they are about 1 hour away). How many days after I get them until I should put them in the incubator for best hatch results? Please let me know.

Other info:
I live in Phoenix & it will be very hot weather here
I plan to get calls, east indies, mini appleyards and mini spotted australians
First time hatcher

How exciting and what a selection. Be sure to have your incubator running and stable a day or so before you set them. Being that you are driving to get them, I personally would set them the same day. Be sure to check out one of the hatch a long threads and ask all of your questions there
