I have been out of town for a bit but I was very glad to read that Janet had shipped some of the geese. I do applaud all her efforts. I am really glad the geese are in a better place, Does anyone know what happened to all her chickens?

Hey Sundance, good to see you!! I am very pleased to be shipping birds out. I am also thrilled that we placed 51 of the 69 geese in less than 3 months. I probably could place more, but I plan to hang on to the remaining 18 for now.

I have no idea what happened to her chickens and after everything that has happened, I no longer communicate with her.

Hope all is with with you, your hubby, and your many animals!!

I know someone from here on BYC picked up a flock of chickens from there, they all ended up being put down after they showed signs of being very sick. There were tests ran as well on them, and the new owner had to make the tough choice so they didnt infect their other chickens.

Thanks, this was a great day. Sold out of duck eggs, sold out of chicken eggs, sold 4 africans and they left, delivered two goats to their new home.

Now if this weather would chill out! We are 81 right now with storms around, but high 80's again this week. Cold front? yes we could use one.

The weather better cooperate this week. I am scheduled to ship Krafty's 6pack to Florida on Tuesday! Jen is also getting her 4pack this week, which means 10 more birds are departing with only 5 left to ship the following week. Then we can declare this mission finished!

Orlando is 88 today and tomorrow (holiday) 87 Tuesday and 86 the rest of the week with 0-10% chance of rain. No shipping out for us this week, unless things change.

Here on the island we are 86 and 85 the next couple of days and 83 the rest of the week. Hope that holds so I can ship out the 15th, this week is out with the holiday.

I know even with an all shaded yard the temp difference from Utah to here was a shocker for the dewlaps. They got buckets of ice in their pools and misters left on to help get use to the temps.

Paulla, hope all is well with your pair! By the way, I completely spaced answering your question a while back about Josephine's age. I believe she is an early May 2012 baby... perhaps a week or two older than Spirit at most.

Celtic, hoping all will be well with shipping into Florida midweek. Krafty is picking them up at airport upon arrival on Wednesday night. Good point about making sure they stay cool while they adjust to temperature change.
