I saw it and was surprised you did not call once your phone was charged. No worries, though. Call me after you get your feed order placed.

with the storms rolling in each night we are on high drive to get homework done, dinner done, baby to bed, and out to do chores. Sunny today though (for now), they are all sleeping in a row along the fence line facing the living room, very nice view.

Marty, I got your text saying they arrived and were doing well, but no picture.

Celtic, sounds like an excellent plan to dna sex them. I think I will do the same for all the dewlaps I have kept. I'm not surprised your new babies did not react to the launch. They have been living against my road with all sorts of loud and scary stuff passing them, and got very desensitized to it.

Lightning, here are pics of your ganders that I took yesterday! They are super sweet boys. I

them!

They are so gorgeous!! I am so excited to be getting them. To my knowledge, nobody around here has Dewlap Toulouse geese, but I will be on the lookout.

Lightning, I'm happy to be sending them to you!! Once I can ship your pair, Jen's 4-pack, Krafty's 6-pack, and Celtic's remaining adult buff pair, I will have officially placed 50 of the 69 geese I returned with. I am unsure if I will keep all of the remaining 19 geese yet, as that will bring my permanent flock number up to 34.

Celtic, I'm really happy you are pleased with your newest additions. Hearing everyone's responses and seeing pics of these precious geese in their new homes has made this mission so worth the blood, sweat, tears, time, money, energy, heartache, stress, etc., etc.!

They are easy keepers compared to our other animals (except the sebbies who are just as easy). Searched all day yesterday and good part of today for another gander, none to be had. Currently at 1 gander 8 geese. With the adults arrival will be at 2 ganders 9 geese leaving us with way too many girls. (unless the DNA gives us a surprise boy)

Congrats Marty on your 3 new ones, they are beautiful, and yes Iain is awesome for doing what she has done, a labor of love to the fullest extent.

I appreciate the kind words. However, I could not have successfully placed these geese into so many great homes without the help and generosity of the wonderful people here on byc. So, thank you all!

Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednigo thank you too, Iain.

They look very tall next to everyone else. They hold themselves so differently. They are much quieter now that I let them in with the other geese. They look like they have such long legs! Its funny since the toulouse hang to the ground pretty much (Dude is still eating good, and he's almost to the ground now) but it makes them look think and short (which I love) especially compared to the african trio! The sebbies with the curls also appear to be (and really are) smaller. Its really interesting to be looking at all three types, and they are all oh-so-very different!

Viva Le Difference!

Marty, I always found them to be quite striking among the buffs and greys. They have a unique charm about them too. So happy everyone settled in easily!!
