Here are pics from the vet.

The person on left is my husband, who did a terrific job of catching everyone at home, then getting them to/from the vet table. Spirit and blind girl went first, then spent the rest of the time hanging out in the grass together until time to leave.

Sweet grey girl getting an exam/blood test.

1st buff girl all done.

2nd buff girl getting exam/blood test. The guy on the left is Dr. Scott Echols, a truly wonderful man. Dean, the awesome clinic vet tech, is on the right. The buff is a big girl and was quite feisty!

I spoke with our wonderful friend who is picking up the remaining geese tomorrow (or Wednesday at the latest). He has allowed me to identify him... John Metzer, who fyi does not normally engage in the rescue business but felt compelled to help in this particular instance... the way I did.

He said he will give them a careful exam upon arrival at his place. I will keep everyone updated with his report once received.

At this time, he is planning to keep them all, but will let me know if his plans change.
Wow. This just makes me like Metzer Farms even more.

I have put in a note that I would like to get either a pair of adults or 4 younger Dewlaps. I have a pair myself and they are WONDERFUL!!! I really want to help some and hope we can get them out here to Virginia!!!
