Iain, here he is- the first gray. Behind Dude is Lady. I was going to give them a few days, but Julia let them out to be with the others and I've had the devils own time trying to get those two apart from the group. He's clearly used to running with the flock. We did get them seperated, and he's with Lady in the "honeymoon pen" tonight. Fresh water, lots of snacks, and a dream date by the kiddie pool.

I should be so lucky.-

I do have a question though, since i have I guess what is called Production Toulouse and ya'll have the Dew Lap Toulouse, is the feeding different in these 2? I have been watching the post about feeding them compared to the Sebbies. Sorry if this isn't the place to ask.

Good morning, everyone! Hope all the new adoptees had a good night and are settling into their new life nicely!!

Forecast is looking good at my place for more shipping next week, but not sure anyone on receiving end will have cool enough temps to ship. I will look carefully at adopters' forecasts today. Fingers crossed someone will be able to receive birds!

Marty, they look great together!! Thanks for posting that picture!! I expect he will integrate easily with your group, but am happy you are separating him at night with Lady. Barley and Chicory are great. I will take new pics today and post.

Lydia, I keep Chicory, my production toulouse, with my dewlaps and he has always had the same feed as them, which is actually mazuri, not the flockraiser/oats/corn mix that everyone else gets.

I keep checking my local weather forecast. One minute they say it is going to be cool enough and the next they say it is going to be too hot. I wish they would figure it out! Of course it also changes drastically depending on which forecaster I check.

Congratulations to everyone that was able to get their geese this week. I am so happy to hear it all went well.

Jen

Jen, I wish it would be cooler in your area next week, as I'd love to send you your two pairs! Florida is on the edge, but probably not worth the risk, unless I see it drop a couple more degrees by Saturday. Unfortunately, it may be another week before we can send out the next round, unless someone up north wants to adopt an available gander or pair??

Marty, here are pics of Chicory and Barley taken this morning. I think Barley wound up being an african/dewlap cross, so she will stay paired up with Chicory and their eggs will be for eating.

We are a no go for shipping in or put next week. 85-87 here on the island making Orlando and the rest of the center of the state too hot for sure.

I am tentatively scheduling out bound shipments for the following week.
