Goose or Gander and can you tell what breed this is?

African have shorter necks and a more submissive posture than the Chinese. No matter what she is,she's a pretty girl!

I agree, she just didn't look quite like the pictures I have seen of African or Chinese, I think prettier. I didn't know some don't have any basal knob, I figured it must be something mixed in to do that. Learn something new every day on here. Her head shape and colouring is gorgeous. Very striking.

She is fairly young. It takes a while for them to get a large knob. The pictures you're looking at may be of a Dewlap African which are much bigger and have a dewlap.

They are gorgeous I'd love some. I'm getting four Pilgrim goslings tomorrow morning. They were born a few hours ago, i'm giving them to my poor broody Toulouse Embden x who has been sitting a long time. her goslings were dead in the shell when I checked the other day. Here's hoping she accepts them.

She is growing so fast. Just a little timeline in pictures from 2 days old to 5 1/2 months.

I'd say the one on the left def gander long slim neck long legs maybe other shorter one is too.

@jchny2000 might be able to say for sure.
As always I appreciate your input! Right now they both have great personalities/temperments but I'm guessing that could change. They follow me everywhere and are big babies. I am afraid they are both ganders. If so I need to start looking for some mates for them.
