Goose Pasture

Hi,

So I'm looking into grass seed for my goose pasture, and TSC sells two formulas--one for equine, and one for cows and sheep. Can anyone tell me which would be better for geese? Also, when is the best time of year to sow grass seed?

Read the bags to know what is in them. They will list the the types of seed blended in each.


We seed..timothy....millet.....clover......plus local grasses good in our area. Oh and we also use field peas as they make great winter forage.

Where do you buy the seeds? and what type of clover is it?

clover is and or can be red, purple and yellow. I order the seed in 20-30-50lb bulk bags through the mill. Oh Rye grass seed is a good one for us here too
