i was guessing what breeds who make a arsama
Sorry, serv.

I thought that maybe Arzamas was the breed you were trying to think of that´s a bit like a tula...
And to make something resembling a steinbacher, I´ve read that you can use a pom with a chinese or African...
I wondered how that might turn out.....

I had to look up Tulas since I had never heard of this breed of goose, my goodness how strange, but they like to Sumo wrestle just like my Scovy's do. LOL

http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/Geese/BRKTula.html for any one who has never seen one.

and they call Steinbachers fighting geese too. http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/Geese/BRKSteinb.html
MLyd, even though they´re called fighting geese, they´re supposed to be among the mildest of geese...strange, but there you go. I can only say what I´ve read, I´ve never had one. I do think they´re stunningly beautiful though.

They really are beautiful. Thanks so much for bringing these 2 breeds up so I could go and see what they look like, I love the Steinbachers. The Tulas well that is strange looking are they an old breed?

Brazil i did read about that breed! thank you because im going to test my pom with a african :) never that of it! i hope i get a simular breed to the arsamas breed :) But now im wondering which should be the gander to create this mix breed the african or the pom :/ ?! this is gonna be fun and ill show pics of em when they hatch till they are adult! and see what the results give :D
