Goose questions!

I know geese can be a little picky as to who they hook up with!
I promised the Hubby, I was ONLY going to have 1 pair of geese!
If I order these goslings I will have 1 pair each, of 3 different breeds! Plus one extra female Tufted Roman!
I don't think it would be wise for me to even consider keeping any babies that would require adding fresh blood!(at this time)

Please tell me I read your post wrong! Are you saying your birds were shipped March 21st? Are you getting adults or babies?

This is my first Year ordering from Metzer, and they have been wonderful. Esspecially since I live in Canada and they have to deal with all them healthpapers etc!
Great People to work with. I ordered Super Africans, Tufted Buff, Tolouse, Pilgrims, Embdens and some ducklings. Sadly 1 african was dead on arrival and another died within 12 hrs and my replacements are scheduled to arrive April 29th. Of course besides the africans I added a pair of white chinas and some more duckies to the order..... if I am already spending all that money on healthpapers might as well get more birds then just 2(ya, ya, I know I am just trying to justify feeding my poultry addiction

).

As for the pairing up, yes your girls will pair up with a Gander they raised themselfs. Full Siblings will pair up too if you let them.

Have fun with your gooseys!!!!! Goslings are such cuties, I haven't had any for 3 yrs and these lil ones from metzer got me totally wrapped around their stubby lil wings. They follow me everywhere when I turn them loose in the yard after work, come when called and patiently wait their turn to be put in the cage at night when playtime is over.
