Goose teething?

I'd probably just leave it and see. Can't see where it would interfere with anything. If the goose starts having problems eating I might try to nip it off.

That's what I was thinking too that he would just scrape it off on a tree sometime, but I kind of want to make sure there isn't an infection, so I'll check tonight and reassessment. Thanks
