Does $75 sound like too much for a trio of un-sexed buff geese that are 4 months old?

That's pretty high, but I bought a sexed pair of geese from Holderreads for 115 bucks, who are "show quality" at least genetically. A steeper price can be asked if the line are show winners, and that would be the first thing I'd think . . . are these high quality little darlings? Buff geese are somewhat "endangered" too, so that would add to the price.

I think that is is very good price!! I bought my Toulouse at $30 a bird!! enjoy them! they are worth every penny and you will get so much enjoyment out of them!

She had wanted $30 a bird...I talked her down.

I'm soo excited! I had a trio before but they died of old age and never could hatch any babies. Is there anyway I can tell male from female, other than waiting til they lay eggs?

How long should I keep them penned (quarantine) before I let them out at the pond?

Here are some pictures...one was born with a birth defect (I'm not too worried about it, it doesn't seem to bother him) I think it is the gander.
