Gooy eye chick needs help

My chick has a gooy eye its 6 days old, from incubator didn;t hatch by itself and is not as strong as could be. Eats and drinks fine now and runs about but sleeps more than other chick a day older. Any ideas what to do to help ? Only two chicks to survive all others dead in eggs.

I was given a chick with a nasty swollen eye and I didn't think it would make it. I used warm water and a cotton ball to gently wipe the eye twice a day. It was scabbed over and I could see the eye moving underneath the scab. Eventually, the scab came off and she's doing fine now.

Thanks for that am very worried as the chick was so weak to start with but what you say is encouraging I will try that.
The photos look great. I am new to Forums and a bit of an old person when it comes to computers so will have a bit of trouble trying to post photos I think.
