I agree with English Chick here about the fowl language he puts out but he can rant and rave about the shortcomings of his students to bring out the best out of them. They can do it if they try to muster everything they got inside and bring it out. So he does have a point.

I love this guy but dont like his foul mouth.

English Chick, he is not English but Scottish, born in Scotland. I am not sure if he lives in both places.

Kitchen Nightmares are horrible and disguisting as it is. It is a deep shame to all people that works in the resturaunt business. A few times, there has been threats on Gordon but none had followed up.

Besides I named my late Blue Orp roo after him!

He was from Gordie's flock.

I like him too. Yes, he has a foul mouth but there is more to him than a few swear words. He has done a lot of good for a lot of people. he is a very shrewd businessman and has saved a lot of folk's businesses from going under. Personally I can get past the swearing pretty quickly and see him for what he is: an excellent chef with a great head for business.

He is Scottish by birth, but was brought up in England.

LOVE Kitchen Nightmares! Hooked me on the guy. Not really fond of how people are treated on Hell's Kitchen; but I bet what happens after the cameras are shut off is a completely different Gordon.

He knows his stuff.

Hell's Kitchen ROCKS here at our place. I missed it once and was so p'd off I spent $2500.00 on an entirely new system, DVR, 40" Flat and a Blue Ray that we have'nt quite figured out yet. And yes, we do watch Kitchen Nightmares and occasionally The F Word. Ramsey's expertise in the kitchen says it all. Very successful worldwide. He really does try to bring the best out of the contestants. Too many people offended today about HIS speach, and his antics, yet they tolerate gay prime time talk show hosts, and soap opera "stars". Too many "stupid cows, and donkeys" HK's got our vote!

I love him! DH refuses to watch him though. I love Kitchen Nightmares, really grosses me out sometimes. All the rats and roaches!! I've noticed after he gets rid of all the donkeys on Hells kitchen and only has a few people left, he really is nice and compassionate. He seems like he enjoys helping the last few and encourages them to further their cooking careers.

Not too many people are that insensitive. The only possible reason for him to act that way is for ratings. I refuse to watch the -sshole!

I absolutley love the man.. When he cried slaughtering his pigs I welled up.. Yeah hes a meanie but he get the job done ..

I love him. He is blunt, raw, direct and to the point.

I loved the F-Word episode where he and his kids raised turkeys.

He can and WILL get very, very upset when the cooks served him poisoned foods!

I dont know how many times he got sick but it get the job done!

I remember one show on Nightmares, an Indian resturaunt downtown NY, I believe, oh the mess of mice, roaches and moldy tomatoes on his food, UGH!

He does have some good advices, go to a resteruant that is "hopping and happy" and you know they will serve good food.

I am certain some of those Nightmare resturaunts folded under within a year or two after Gordon cleaned them up, usually due to economic hard times or just plain bad habits came back again to cut the costs.
