Last time I checked I was. I did the same thing with Msbear's cochins. She had a beautiful MF pair that I bought in an auction, got them here and then traded the rooster locally for just a pet quality pullet but with the promise of getting a few eggs by him. It probably seems silly or stupid to you but not to me and I couldn't be happier or more in love with the beautiful hen I got out of it, Dumpling. It only has to make sense to me.
