Gosling Drooling? HELP! First geese

Mine are ALOT larger than that. longer necks and taller. Ugh, I wish I could get pictures up! Ill do my best to try to get them up today or tomorrow.

Also - every time i go out they extend their necks and "squeak " or "trill" at me. Is this a friendly noise or a back off noise? they are semi friendly - will come over if i have food in hand , let me lean over and pet them and all, but arent too keen on being picked up . My favorite is the one i think is an african ( i named him / her bernard xD ) because i cn pet/ pick him up any time and he doesnt really struggle like the other two.

I would love to see your pictures. My African are the Super African (dewlap type). Some of the production Africans have been crossed on Chinese geese.

They are just talking to you, it's sweet actually. ALso, my female drops water from her mouth when she pants, b/c it has been sooo hot in the south. I think yours are just panting... jennifer Oh, and sometimes it comes out of her nose... j

Mine did that drooling stuff too, they still do sometimes, especially then they're around they're water or were drinking or playing in it recently, its really nasty. They LOVED the heat in the brooder when they lived in there though so i dunno about the heat, they practically lived under the red light.

Hopefully you'll be able to get pics soon so we can see if they're healthy looking babies. but i hope it eases your mind a little to know that mine Still do the same thing, even my muscovy babies do.
