Gosling hatched with yolk sack still attached! Please Help!!!

I couldn't either, very sad :( I've read everything from cut it off to leave it alone! I just made the little chick as comfy as she could be and keep her in the incubator. I've heard get a little box with a paper towel and keep them in that in the incubator, the paper towel is so the yolk doesn't stick to the ground and rupture the yolk sack to early when they move around? Might want to give that a try. Keep us updated and good luck!

The yolk sac ruptured in the night from it flailing around. I gave it some vitamin and electrolyte water since I am assuming it isn't getting anything from the yolk. I sprayed Vetricyn on it to hopefully keep from getting infected. On the Sebastopol goose forum I read from one person that it should absorb and hopefully fall off. I not getting my hopes up for sure.
