Haven't hatched goslings, yet, but my ducklings were much slower to walk and such then the chicks were. The gosling I have currently is over a week old and still very clumsy! Give it time, if it made it out of the egg on its own it is most likely fine and just resting.
Also may not want to eat for a while, as it has absorbed the yolk. It is okay for it not to eat for several days, altho my ducklings were ravished after 12 hours (but then ducklings are little piggies, so no suprise there.)

I think i should get him a friend.Is their a hatchery that sells just 1 or 2 goslings?
