Gosling question

Okay, the last gosling of four eggs has hatched. BUT he/she is still attached to the egg, I think from the yolk area? Does this mean the gosling is still absorbing the yolk? I have no intention of messing with it and hoping he/she will be alright.

She will be fine, just leave her in the incubator and it should dry up. Congratulations!!

Thanks. She is out but looks to be kind of cripped, she was completely out last night.(Oh, shes a toulouse by the way.) I keep saying "she" but it could very well be a "he". The little gosling is cuddling as I am tying this...wants to nibble everything...
