I've had a poor hatch this time, every egg had an issue my chicken egg had a mobile air sac but hatched beautifully, my first gosling was shrink wrapped but with slow patient help hatched and is healthy.

my last gosling however was stuck to the egg and had its yolk sac rupture on hatch with blood and a lot of pain for it which has been sorted now however he has splayed legs a faster heartbeat, and I suspect he could be blind. I need help with this one he can move now if a bit wonkily, but I'm worried about his suspected blindness and heartbeat, he seems strong enough for a recent hatcher but I worry about if he will be able to eat unassisted and if the slightly faster heart rate could kill him.

His eyes never fully opened and look dull and he reacts slower and only appears to eat after the back of his head is stroked, I think it's taking it as a signal it's in front of food. He also doesn't follow the other gosling like the chicken, despite said bird taking good care of it.

The loss of blood is likely to have caused the higher heart rate, his heart now has to work harder to do the same job. It will take time to regrow the blood, but not very long and his heart should be alright.

Not sure about the other symptoms you describe, but possibly the squinty eyes is due to weakness due to blood loss. I've had some chicks lose a fair bit of blood at hatch due to various causes and generally, given a chance, they will simply sleep it off. They will eat and drink like the others but will sleep longer than the others initially as their bodies grow new blood cells.

The splaying possibly needs a vitamin supplement to correct, though it's possibly also genetic.

Best wishes.

I'd hobble his legs and also make sure the gosling is on non slippery bedding. like old clean towels. and a poultry vitamin like Poultry Nutri drench will do alot to get him going. Please keep us updated. Hopefully the eye sight will clear up too.
