Hi there, so my Toulouse eggs both hatched (after a VERY tense 2 1/2 days - what I'll be like if my own kids ever reproduce I DON'T know I'm sure!!

) Anyway, they seem fine except one (Gloria) was born with her left foot curled under and she / he was walking on her ankle. So this morning I put a little piece of cardboard under her foot and used micro-pore medical tape to attatch it so her foot is now flat. She seems to be getting around ok and it seems to making her ankle straighten up.

Have I done the right thing? And how long should I leave it before taking it off - I sort of thought 2-3 days then see if it had made a difference. They're only pets so she doesn't have to be perfect but I'd like her to be able to get around as well as she can.

These are my first ever geese - they are totally gorgeous!
