Mine are now 7 months + and I´m fairly sure of most of them. The males are more forward, and I kind of knew who were definite males quite early-on, but obviously only 80%. but all those hunches were right. the females keep you guessing longer, mainly because they stay like the babies longer. The males get all macho as they get older, but not absolutely ALL of them. some are quieter by nature. The age mine are now, they´re starting, just starting, to get their grown-up voices and the females have a lower pitch. They´re finer in build, too. but as I said before, I have one female that is really bossy, more like a gander would be. I´m going to put her together (she doesn´t have her own mate yet) with her nephew this year. He´s the biggest gander of them all. Monster geese! Well, not really, compared to some of the breeds on here, but compared to most of mine, he´s big.

Well day six and lots of spider veins showing, have eggs from Iain, Indigo and my own. Mine were a bust too young but i refuse to toss them.
Crossing fingers and hoping rest show veins soon.

I'm just impatient with these things. I know every goose is going to be different anyway regardless of sex and having them a month apart I can't really compare them properly yet.
But Moose has been as bold as brass from day one, Lucy has been skittish, jumps at quick hand movements and wriggles when picked up/put down (likes to snuggle under my jumper though). She's also a quick learner. Not solid proof I know but it's all I have for now. :)

I JUST now got my grow with me diapers......now I just need some fuzzy butts to put in them.... they are so small! and now I am eggcited!
