Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

March 12, 2014 and I have two more things coming/ she didn't say anything about shipping the baby ones separately like she did for you. I would assume she is behind.
I have an expected delivery date 4/23 which was fine. Given this is spring, and babies are arriving for everyone but me

I am ok with the amount of time. I knew it from the start, which is why I ordered early. This is my third year ordering though, so I have learned.

She has a full time job so she does this on the side, so she does her best to keep up with the demand.

See that kinda bothers me. I understand someone getting behind, but I ordered mine on March 5th, and nothing has come in yet.

Hello
Today I hatched my first goslings:

This two are the first, there are two more in the incubator.

Adorable pictures of all the new goslings! Congrats on successful hatching!!

Stefanfarms, congrats on developing eggs from my girls! I can't wait to see pictures of them when they hatch!! I'll probably be as excited as you for the white Africans!

As luck would have it, I was able to catch my African broody this afternoon off her nest, so I did a quick candle. I didn't see anything promising from the three eggs I gave her, but discovered she laid quite a few more eggs of her own and much to my surprise (she is mated to a fairly old gander), she has one egg spider on day 5-ish and a possible day 4-ish looking egg.

Since I only have one other trio of eggs under another broody, I'm not too optimistic about getting white goslings from eggs set under my girls. So, I'm getting super itchy to fire up my bator, especially since one of my white girls is pretty sick with reproductive issues and I'm not sure she will make it.
