Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

Well he has one big lobe off to the right that developed quite early. He is just a sweetheart. The OH snapped him after he'd spent ages in the water. Scruffy monkey! Can you believe he's nearly 9 weeks old?!

I officially can't find my suspected broody hen. She was here this morning clucking about but no sign after work! I even did a thorough search and still couldn't find her! I just know she's sitting on eggs somewhere and I need to swap them for goosey ones! I don't need more chickens!!

wow, great timing on the pic! He/she looks beautiful and happy!

It's amazing where they can hide. That can't be Moose.

I know. All grown up! :love

You´ll have to feed the chickens with their favourite treat to coax her out and then watch her like a hawk!  And good pic, well caught OH!
Moose doesn´t exactly shout gander to me, but then I have that one that I can´t decide, so.........

I'm hoping she'll be out again in the morning then I can begin operation: stalk the chicken! :lau
I don't really care too much if he's a he or a she his temperament is great. If Moaning Malevolent Milicent Malcolm Myrtle is in fact a male then Moose looking more female is a good thing! :D

That´s what I thought! Hey, you know, you can´t get cross with a goose or gander called Moaning Malevolennt Milicent Malcolm Myrtle, because by the time you´d got it all out correctly, he/she wouldn´t be there any more!

Good eh? We've been trying to catch him with wings spread for ages! Lovey Moosey Moo!

What a name to stick on a poor gosling :p

Ahahaha  It's temporary, first it was a she then it was a he now we're not to sure and to top it off it's a screeching bitey little thing! I love it all the same though. :)

Hehe, my lap gander, Jasper, loves nibbling on me, he is so big now it hurts sometimes. But he gets upset if I put him off my lap. I think he has claimed me as his female!

Ha ha. Moose has a zip fetish. It's a wonder he hasn't broken one yet with the force he uses. I had to tell them off earlier (yeah right. Pushover!!) ;) Moose was hanging off my zipper while MalcolmMyrtle was chewing on my trousers. I thought they were going to eat me!

Jasper crawls in my lap and chews my jeans, shirts, jewelry, hair, or my arms and hands. Basically anything that catches his attention! So i know what you mean about being eaten alive by geese. :lau And as I said, when I put him off me he gets Soo upset! Man the temper tantrums he can throw!
