Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

There all about the same size n r always doing the same thing they stayin pairs a lot if there not all together
Maybe that's telling you something if they kinda a pairing off, Very hard for me to tell at that age. All I know is gander keep their heads higher when walking and standing the goose just walks and stands normal, now whether you'll see that kind of behavior in geese that age ids questionable.

Lovely! Where did you get them? I missed that part while i was gone those few days
Well Missy's one egg she was sitting on the gosling couldn't externally pip and died over night last Sunday, so I found a farm here in our county knew they had Ducks but when I went on their web site found out they have geese, they have Toulouse, Buff and Chinese when I called Sunday afternoon they had 2-2 day old gosling so we jumped in the car and got them. Missy and Sammy are showing interest so I'm hoping in a couple weeks when they aren't snake food anymore they will take them under their wing.

It's young, but not unheard of. Snow started displaying gander behavior at that age. I don't know if that's normal or because he was the oldest boy though. I would start watching for the signs of gander behavior on the off chance though.

This is my first time having geese so how would a gander act
I have 2 that when they walk they look like they have a big bump in there necks is that normal my other 2 don't have that when they walk I just noticed it the other day

I think it's the way the pic taken I can try n catch then n take pic of there head if u need them
Honestly I don't know how much help I can be, ganders hold themselves more erect, are usually bolder than the females, Starfire maybe able to help you more so since she has young geese around the same age, My 2 new ones are only 4 days old and my gander is 7yrs so been quite a while since I've has a young gander in my midst.
