Hope it all goes smoothly for you, and that you´re soon back on here with your funny and interesting posts. All of my birds are going to be unhappy today. They're all moving to a new home. Geese, ducks, chickens, and turkeys are going to stay with a friend of mine for a short while. The geese and ducks will hate it the most, because they won't be able to leave their pen anymore. They'll have grass, and I can move the pen, but they'll be confined for a little while. It's only temporary until another friend of mine closes on her house, and starts moving in. Then she will let them all stay there, and the property will be fenced, so she'll let the babies out again.
I will be going to stay with my mom in her RV for a while. It's a long story, but I've got to get out of this house. I was assaulted by my 13-year-old niece (because I grounded her) and left with dozens of bruises, cuts, and a black eye. At just 11 years old, the girl was going to counseling for anger management, and the doctor wanted to put her on meds. She's hell on earth, and getting attacked was my last straw. I'm not giving up my birds, but they won't be WITH me for a while. I'll still be visiting them every day to feed and water them though.
I'm going to miss the wee-wee-wee-honk for a while though.
Managed to get hold of her on Friday. She spent the weekend at the vet just to check her over, and as the bones are already fused, the vet reckons she´ll go on ok as she´s already starting to use the leg. She´s very thin and on pain killers and something else, can´t remember, for a week to help her along. She´s in my garden at the moment where my little dogs live. My big dogs would be too much for her. We reckon she must have Malinois in her.I hope you find the dog. Poor thing.
And did you sleep on the step?
That dog definately has Belgain Malinois in her. I have a Malinois Chow mix and other than her hair being shorter she looks a lot like him.Managed to get hold of her on Friday. The babies slept with S&M while I laid down in my bed but slept very little. They are bonding really well too. I am so happy for Missy, she is just like a doting mother. And did you sleep on the step?![]()
That´s an interesting cross. I can certainly see the Malinois, though, more than the Chow ( the tail, I suppose).
This pic doesn´t show how thin she is, really. It seems she may have broken her pelvis, and she´s crooked if you look at her from above, but she´ll be ok here now. So far she´s not interested in the birds, and the geese were so noisy, she just backed off. There´s a fence between them of course. The cats aren´t oo impressed but she´s not really interested in them either. Poor little babe.Aww livin did you find her? she looks so sweet and sure needs some good food eh?
She looks young too. I'm sure you'll have her looking and feeling great in a short time. That´s an interesting cross. I can certainly see the Malinois, though, more than the Chow ( the tail, I suppose).![]()
